What stands a legend out is not just knowing what is wrong and knowing what needs to be done, but having the wherewithal and core-competencies to do the needful.

Many have got to public office, either as legislators or executives, without knowing what to do to right the wrongs. Most of the ones who know don’t have the experience to initiate the process of reinventing the polity.

Dr. Adewale Kola Kareem stands out like a sore thumb in this instance for the position of Governor of the pacesetter state.

He is not just a bundle of ambition but a man with a vision of the required policies to make the good things better and turn around the ones that are not so good.

He has, over the years, garnered experience and acquired expertise globally. These experiences cannot impact on the people without being made available to the local people. That requires a global vision with a local focus.

Dr. Kareem's exposure to the working systems of various successful countries and continents has broadened his understanding of development and leadership, enhancing his knowledge in the style of leadership and the deserved development in the state. This global perspective will not only enable him to bring innovative solutions to Oyo State's challenges, but also take the state to international standard. 

 

Qualitative Education still remains the best legacy to bestow on our children and generations yet unborn. Experience and passion for education are germane to having a robust and sustainable education system in Oyo State.

Dr. Kareem's teaching background and passion for education are of essence here. His academic accomplishments are a drive for his dedication to empowering the next generation through Education. Putting his expertise and passion to use as Governor of Oyo State, every child will have unhindered access to qualitative education and opportunities for growth physically and mentally.

 

Dr. Kareem's philanthropic efforts have touched countless lives in Oyo State. His selfless dedication to empowering individuals and communities is a hallmark of his leadership style. By providing vital facilities like youth empowerment offices, information communication technology, and healthcare services, Dr. Kareem has demonstrated his commitment to improving the lives of Oyo State citizens.

Earlier in the year, In a significant demonstration of philanthropy and unwavering dedication to community development, Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem, launched an ambitious project to construct a multi-million naira building complex for humanitarian services. The three-storey edifice was named the Adewale Kolapo Kareem (AKK) House.

In recognition of his contribution to society especially youth development and empowerment, Dr Kareem was honored with the prestigious Omoluabi Award by the Yoruba Council of Youth Worldwide (YCYW) in Oyo State. This recognition is part of the newly launched Omoluabi 3.0 initiative, aimed at promoting exemplary leadership and moral values among the youth.

Oyo state and her people deserve a man like AKK at the helm of affairs come 2027

  ONIDO:   DEVELOPMENT OF IDO, PAST AND PRESENT CONTRIBUTIONS Ido was founded by Agura, who was in the group that left Ile Ife with Oranmiyan to establish Old Oyo. On getting to the location in the forest, after consulting his Ifa priest he named the place Ido. Ido is today the headquarters of Ido Local Government. Ido is quite developed and still developing. Ido houses many government facilities and non-governmental development projects. New businesses, housing estates, medical facilities and schools dot the town. This has been made possible by contributions and sacrifices of past monarchs and royal families in Ido.
